More catch up- my best of 2014 creations (so far)

This is what I made today!!!

I was inspired by my friend Deidre's cute little three panel card that we made last week when we got together.. For the feet on the three panels- Warning! I killed my SU! Curly Label Punch by trying to punch too many layers of thick card stock. Sigh. So I ended up using a Spellbinders Labels One die set. Deidre used a longer piece of paper and was able to use the Decorative Label for the feet. I used one half sheet of a 8.5x11 chocolate chip paper, so the littler punch was necessary.

For the flowers, I used the new Flower Patch (photopolymer stamps) and matching Flower Fair dies. For the wonderful flamingo and the "Happy Day", I used the Flamingo Lingo stamp set (remember $3 goes to Ronald McDonald House with each purchase). (I bent the photopolymer stamp that says "BE YOU (TIFUL)" to shape the banner. And was able to use my old SU Spring Bouquet Flower punch for the little flower on the banner. Each flow

And the fox (or coon, or mouse, or.... ) says...
I have been in love with the SU! Life in the Forest stamp set for months... and finally got it and made a card that I've been admiring online. So, thank you Catherine Pooler for your inspiration for my fox card!

I cut out the words in all the Just Sayin' word bubbles so I could put anything I want in them. For the Celebrate- I used the retired hostess set Express Yourself. I made the stripey tree with Raspberry ink on the Positively Chevron background stamp. The other papers are from the new Moonlight mini DSP stack.

This little wild flower wonder I saw demoed at the Rubber Stamping Convention (San Jose area) last spring.
I tried out a new technique and used ink refills and mixed my own combos of inks on a homemade Cut-N-Dry Stamp and Felt Pad. The stamps are from RubberNecker.com

I don't have the Work of Art stamp set yet, but I've caught the the water colorbug! Here's a simple card with some retired DSP (designer paper) and the new World of Dreams set with some sweet silhouettes and quick swipes with a wet paintbrush and a dab of the new 2014-2016 In Colors. ( I used Blackberry Bliss,

Here are some cards I made and work-shopped with my stamping buddies this spring.

The You Make me Smile card is all current sets- Label Love, A Round Array, Daydream Medallions, Decortive Dots embossing folder. Sadly the Enjoy card is all retired now.

I got this idea from Lynda Lee to split two stamp set to make Your're (it used to say You're Amazing") and Wonderful. The design is from Mosaic Madness.
